First published photo of rail slide on skis

Back in 1997, before people were skiing backwards, before 110+mm powder skis, when only skateboarders and snowboarders slid rails, I was on a mission to session this rail on skis. It was in downtown Albany, NY where I grew up & Jeff Winterton shot the photo that became the first ever published photo of a rail slide by a skier. I was extra stoked it was legit urban, you got to love the jeans & tee shirt. At the time I was doing everything possible to be a skier that didn’t do what skiers do.
